Christiaan Bezuidenhout secured his second European Tour win last weekend at the Alfred Dunhill Championship; the home favorite jumped inside the top 10 after the win.
The win came after he started the final round trailing the leader by three-shot but ended winning the tournament with a four-shot lead after an excellent final round culminating a great amount of work through the tournament.
The South African said of the win: “It’s incredible, this tournament has been close to my heart since I played it for the first time. It’s always been a tournament I wanted to win and to pull it off today is really, really special to me. I’m proud of myself to stick in there and to have pulled it off round here.”
The second place was shared by four players looking for their first win, but they all finished four shots behind the leader.
