The closing tournament of the Ladies European Tour held in Spain was taken by the Danish Pederson to add the third consecutive win to her fantastic year.
Pederson appeared very strong in the final round on Sunday with a bogey-free 66 shots, she had her dad as caddie during the tournament which was very special and emotional.
Commenting emotionally on her win: “it was a very special with my Dad. My dad got me into golf and has been a big supporter all the way, it’s really big to win with him.” Pederson finished the season number one with 4 wins and 7 top ten out of 12 tournaments played.
On the other side of the tournament, the Moroccan star Maha Haddioui played a very good tournament and finished top 4, she completed an exceptional season, although without a win but she had some amazing performances especially in Switzerland and last weekend in Spain.
The challenging Ladies European Tour season altered with the Pandemic came to an end at the Spanish Open.
