On Sunday the South Korean Si Woo Kim won the American Express Championship to claim his third PGA Tour Career title. Patrick Cantlay was close to winning the title after a strong performance over the weekend, while Tony Fino continued to struggle to win his second title in the tour after he was leading entering the final round.
Kim performed excellently throughout the weekend without committing any mistakes, and he finished the last round in a brilliant manner with 8 under par 64 to end the tournament with a score of 23 below par, one stroke ahead of Cantlay who finished second with a total of 22 under par after he scored a fantastic final round of 11 under par bogey free 61.
On the other hand, Fino continued to struggle to win his second title on the PGA tour, Although he led the tournament at the end of the third round on Saturday, he was unable to continue his good performance on Sunday to lose the chance to win the championship, he settled for fourth place with a total of 19 under par.
The PGA Tour continues this week with the Farmers Insurance Open, which will be held at the Torrey Pines Golf Course in San Diego, California.
