The American Dustin Johnson won his first title of the year on Sunday taking home the title the Saudi International, the second in the history of the tournament, the tournament concluded on Sunday at the Royal Greens GC in Jeddah.
Dustin’s victory came somewhat comfortably as he finished the final round with 68 two under par, and finished the tournament first with a 15 strokes under par. After this victory, Dustin confirmed his dominance in the Saudi International, where he won two times and finished runner up on the third in the only three editions of the tournament until now.
His compatriot Tony Finau came in second place sharing it with England’s Justin Rose, both with a score of 13 under par. Tony, who is still looking for his second professional title since 2016 and was unable to achieve that in Saudi Arabia.
It should be noted that the tournament witnessed the participation of a group of the best golfers in the world, including the winner and the number one in the world, Dustin Johnson and his compatriot DeChambeau, Finau and Reed. The tournament also witnessed the participation of the best European golfers, including Westwood, Fleetwood, Paulter and the French Perez.
Four Arab players participated in the tournament, three of them Saudis and the fourth Jordanian, Shergo Al-Kurdi, who finished the tournament as the best Arab ranked with a result of five strokes over Par, followed by Saudi Othman Almulla with a result of seven strokes over Par.
