Brief Story of Tiger Woods

Eldrick Tont “Tiger” Woods is an American professional golfer, he is considered one of the greatest golf players, he has had an unprecedented career since becoming a professional golfer in 1996. He won 110 professional tournaments, including the 1997, 2001, 2002, 2005 and 2019 Masters Tournaments, 1999, 2000, 2006, and 2007 PGA Championships, 2000, 2002, and 2008 U.S. Open Championships, and 2000, 2005, and 2006 British Open Championships. In 2001 Tiger became the first ever to hold all four professional major championships at the same time.

Born on December 30, 1975, tiger grew up in Cypress, California. He is the son of Earl Woods, a retired lieutenant colonel in the U.S. Army, and  Kultida, a native of Thailand. His father started teaching him golf at very early age as he described in his book (training a tiger), at 6 months tiger was watching his father hits golf balls into a net in his garage, he started practicing and learning golf at the age of 2 and appeared on a tv show in the same year, he started taking the golf world by storms at junior age were he won many tournaments.

Tiger had one of the most impressive amateur records in golf history, winning six USGA national championships, before turning professional in1996. in1997 Tiger won four PGA TOUR events including the Masters and the season-opening Mercedes Championships. In that year tiger became the youngest-ever golf player to achieve No. 1 on the Official World Golf Ranking.

He went on to win 82 PGA Tour events (tied for all times the most wins), 41 European Tour events, and many other events and honors. Tiger holds multiple world records.

He last played and the special November masters and finished top 38.
