The second straight event of the European Tour played in Kenya this week Kenya Savannah Classic, came to a dramatic end after the draw between the South African Daniel van Tonder and Jazz Janewattananond at -21 at the end of normal play.
The winner was decided by sudden death playoff, the two players made par in the first two holes, at the third Daniel van Tonder made a birdie to claim his first European Tour win, winning the Kenya Savannah Classic and his maiden tour win will boost his confidence for more to come.
This is the second tournament in the European tour schedule to be help in Kenya, after last week’s Magical Kenya Open that was held on the same course Karen Country Club.
